HISTORIC DOWNTOWN WEDDING
what we did
The set for Jennie and Zach's ceremony took place in a downtown historic home built in 1883. The aisle was lined with antique vintage pails filled with mixed florals and set along side hand-painted wooden signage. The white lettering tied in lyrics to a song quite special to the sentimental couple. Placed throughout the ceremony, were hand made wreaths filled with lush greenery and delicate mixed florals.
For the reception, the same elements were carried over from the ceremony using the lush greenery and stained wooden pieces. Each table was uniquely curated with feathers and florals inside of antique items, such as old terrariums or wooden boxes, and set with different sized table numbers. To add a more personal touch, hand-lettered placecards in wooden slices were placed at each seat. Additionally, the seat assignments were lettered in a shimmery gold ink and attached to stained wooden boards. To highlight the wedding party tables, numerous candle-lit jars were strung from the ivory pergola surrounding a large crystal chandelier in which the newly married couple would sit beneath. The wedding itself captures a present-day romance with a touch of vintage flare.
